2020! Pitter Patter...
Well it's been quite some time since I last refreshed the old blog. With Facebook and Instagram, coming to the website to add content has been low on the list. Hopefully I can get back to adding some weekly updates here as well. Lets get back to rounding up the happenings in the shop here again!
Tool & Effect with Hand Punches, Chisels and Fullers
It's been a rough last couple of years on my personal set of hand tools. I am rough on them, and students don't do them any favors during classes either. Although they have worked extremely well and help create thousands of items in the shop since I made the original ones when I took "Tools to Make Tools" in 2014.
Hammers, Tools and even some knives to end a great March.
March is almost reached the end and what a crazy month it has been here in the shop. So many projects and working on getting them done. Hammers were made, several people coming through to check out the shop and even managed to get a few knives ground out. Some things may be changing here in the short-term which will bring about a reduction in time in the shop, but it should set me up better for the long-term goals as well.
A ton of forging going on. Hammers, tools and more from the shop!
What a busy past month it has been in the shop. Didn't really forget about the blog, but with all the projects and people coming through, it has been tough to keep this up. Hopefully I can get everyone caught up on the past few weeks on all the tools forged, classes and more here in the shop.
End of the year post full of knives and such!
As 2016 winds down to a close, I cannot say thank you enough to everyone who has made this year in the shop a great one. To everyone who has bought a knife, took a class or just followed along, THANKS for your continued support. I accomplished quite a bit this past year. Even with a few bumps in the round along the way, I still managed to grow considerably.
